Classes begin with Sukshma Vyayama/ Jathis consists of gentle warming-up movements that improve flexibility, blood circulation, and prepare the body for deeper yoga practices. Meanwhile, Sthoola Vyayama, such as Surya Namaskar, involves dynamic movements, helping to energize the body, improved flexibility, bring balance at different systems of the body.

Kriya means action and the term is used for movements coordinated with breathing. Kriyas are also used for cleansing practices in Hatha yoga which is a preparation for further yogic practices.

ASANA

​

Asanas are done static postures that are held for a length of time to bring steadiness in the body and calmness in the mind. Every posture is held to get the maximum benefit. Asanas are both psycho- physical in nature and they are certain attitudes that shape our mind as well. Asanas are done in a mindful manner to improve the awareness and get ready for the practice of Pranayama.

BREATHING PRACTICES:

​

Every class involves breathing practices to develop the body and mind for Pranayama which is much more than breathing exercise where vital energy or prana is influenced. Breathing practices are the stepping stone for Pranayama where we learn sectional and sub sectional breathings, hathenas or ways to improve lung capacity, learn different corrective and physiological breathing with different ratios.

PRANAYAMA:

​

Pranayama is the control of vital energy through the regulation of breath. We learn classical pranayama first without retention and manipulate the flow of energy in the energetic body. As you delve into the practice, you’ll unlock the transformative potential of your breath, experiencing a profound sense of balance, vitality, and inner calm.

Our classes focus on fostering inner peace, enhancing concentration, promoting overall well-being. Participants are guided on their journey to discover the transformative power of meditation. Join us to cultivate a deeper connection with yourself and embrace a more balanced life.
