Yoga is more than asanas and in this retreat we will deepen our practice with Hatha and Raja Yoga techniques and connect with our inner self. These practices are passed from teacher to student over the years. Through such time tested and traditional techniques one can acheive the meditative state.

About the event

Spend your day with like minded people and deepen your yoga practice by learning some unique and traditional yoga techniques passed from teacher to students in a guru shishya parampara ( lineage).You will be sorrounded by nature and have the opportunity to invogorate your body and mind through the practice of Asana, Pranayama, Mudra, Mantra, Pratyahara and Dhayana ( Meditation).

We will celebrate Summer Solistice and International Day of Yoga by deepening the practice with Hatha and Raja Yoga techniques .

                                          Meet & Greet

                                  (10:00 AM - 12:00 AM)

  -Sun Adoration through Rishikesh Surya Namaskara ( Sun Salutation) with mantras. 

 - Asana & Kriya ( Physical practice)

- Shuddhi Kriyas ( Cleansing Practices), Breathing practice & Pranayama

                                 ( 12:00 PM -1:00 PM)

   Lunch ( Freshly cooked satvik vegetarian meal based on Ayurvedic principles. Menu can be adjusted to allergies and restrictions)

                               ( 1:00 PM - 2: 15 PM) 

  FREE TIME ( Personal Consultation/ Nature Walk/ Rest time)

                                  (2:30 PM - 3: 45 PM)

- Yoga Philosophy ( Selected yoga sutras on bringing the pleasantness of the mind )

- Pranava Pranayama/ Nada Yoga ( a unique practice from Gitananda yoga Tradition)

                                 ( 3:45 PM - 4:00 PM)

                    TEA  BREAK ( Herbal tea & Chai will be served)

                                 (4:00 PM - 6:00 PM)

-  Asana & Active Relaxation

-  Pranayama, Pratyahara & Dhyana ( Meditation)

-  Kirtan

-  Dinner
