About the event
Join us for "Learn to Breathe: The Yogic Way: 101," an enlightening workshop designed to deepen your understanding of the respiratory system and the significance of deep breathing. Discover the vital relationship between your mind, body, and breath, while learning techniques such as Vibhaga (sub-sectional breathing) with hasta mudras ( hand gestures). We will also be learning yogic cleansing techniques like Jala Neti, Kapalbhati ( both varieties), Mukha bhastrika, Anunasika and more to keep the respiratory system robust and prepare it to withstand the external challenges in terms of pollutants, allergies etc..
I will introduce you to some ratios with breath retention to bring mind-body changes. We will end the session with sound-based practice/ Pranava Pranayama based on sectional breathing which would take you towards meditation.
This workshop is a prerequisite for our Classical Pranayama session, so don't miss out.
