About the event

Most of the people these days are shallow breathers and use only 1/10th of their lung capacity. Deep and proper breathing has a lot of benefits some of them include improved lung capacity, improved oxygen intake, reduce carbon dioxide toxicity, reduced stress, calmness, improved energy, and immunity. Along with the physical benefits, the aim of yoga practices is to work on a human being as a whole. These practices go much deeper into the subtle layers and work on the mental and emotional bodies as well.

In this session, we will learn some amazing practices taught by Swami Gitananda Giri. 

Subsectional breathing /Vibhaga pranayama with Sparsha and Prana mudras to improve breath awareness,

Sukha Pranayama, yogic deep breathing with certain ratios,

Practices to improve lung capacity with special focus on different lobes,

Selected Shuddhi Kriyas/ Cleansing practices from Hatha yoga tradition,

Pranava Pranayama ( AUM)


Every Tuesday & Thursday from 6pm-7:15pm
