Weekly Group Classes


Monday:

THE SHAAMA CENTRE ( In- person & Online) 
11:00-12:00 PM : Chair Yoga ( Seated & Standing)

( IF you a limited mobility then this class is for you. We perform modified yoga poses sitting on the chair or standing with the help of the chair. These classes are free for Shaama center members.) 
 


TUESDAY

WEST END SENIORS ACTIVITY CENTRE (Online and in-person)


9:30-10:30 AM:   Hatha Yoga ( beginners)

( This class is good for people who are interested in building a good foundation in yoga and learn yoga in a step by step manner)


10:45-11:45 AM: Manage Arthritis through yoga

( The class starts with joint movements/ jathis, kriyas and prepare body for different yoga positions particularly good for arthritic pain and limitations & breathing to reduce the inflammation.)

1:15 pm - 2:15 pm: Chair Yoga ( Seated)

 

(This class is entirely seated and adapted yoga poses, kriyas, breathing and sound based practices  are done on the Chair. Good option for those who cannot stand or avoid standing poses sue to health concerns.)

WEDNESDAY

Lunch time yoga @ Energizer, Downtown

12:00 pm -12:45 pm

( If you are in downtown, then take a break from your stressful day at work and join me for this energizing and grounding class to recharge your system.)

THURSDAY

MILLWOODS SENIORS CENTRE

12:30 pm - 1:30 pm: Yoga for Well-being

Hatha yoga class mainly designed for the well-being of seniors who want to challenge themselves through gentle yet powerful practice of yoga.

FRIDAY
