Surya namaskara also known as Sun Salutation is the dynamic group of asanas which helps in loosening,strecthing, massaging and toning all the joints,muscles and internal organs of the body.Regular practice of surya namaskara leads to the balance of physical and mental energy system.
Sun Salutation is a complete practice in itself and offers benefits to all the systems of the body. The series of postures is usually done in the early morning facing the rising sun, absorbing the vital rays into the body.It creates strong and flexible spine, activates sluggish glands, aids in digestion and eliminates constipation, removes stiffness of the joints, reduces obesity,increases activity of the skin by cleansing the pores and the list goes on and
There are around 17 different varieties of sun salutation but in this session we will learn
We will cover three surya namaskaras: Rishikesh Surya namaskar, Vedic Surya Namaskar & Veerya Surya Namaskar
Proper way of doing different types of Surya namaskara,
Modifications to suit your need and capacity,
learn to pronounce different names of sun to enhance the practice and get benefits from the mantra,
Cleansing and Pranayama practice to improve energy, breathing capacity and bring calmness in the mind.
