About the event
Session 1: Building foundations
A variety of practices will be introduced in the session along with the understanding of yoga philosophy to bring balance & harmony to achieve the goal of yoga - inner silence.
We will build foundation of yogic lifestyle and discipline the body & mind through Kriyas & Jathis/Joint movements, Asanas/Postures, learn basic breathing techniques to improve lung capacity & get ready for Pranayama. We will explore some of the unique relaxation techniques of Gitananda tradition which will help to reduce the tension from the body and calm down the mind.
This session will set the foundation for our future classes and we will explore the practices in a step by step manner.
Open to ALL - beginners & experienced practitioners.
