Exploring Prāṇāyāma

In this 3 hour workshop, we will explore the science and art of breathing, asanas that can prepare the body for good breathing.

Cleansers - Mukha bhastrika, Nasarga Mukha bhastrika, Anunasika, Kapalbhati

ABC of breathing - Vibhaga or sub- sectional  with sparsha mudra & Prana mudras.

Savitri pranayama - the physiological Pranayama in different talas/patterns

Bandha Trayam - Mulabandha, Uddiyana & Jalandhar

Asta Kumbhaka/ Pranayama in the classical texts - Hatha Pradipika & Gheranda samhita
